Friend of the Industry - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Available to educators, trade associations, economic development organizations, public officials, retired industry professionals, and other individuals or organizations interested in supporting ALARA's mission and the continued advancement of Alabama's captive insurance and alternative risk industry.

Friends of the Industry help promote awareness, education, collaboration, and professional engagement throughout Alabama's alternative risk community.

Friend of the Industry Members may participate in Association programs and activities but do not have voting rights or eligibility to serve as directors or officers of the Association.

Industry Partner Member - $1,000.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 5 members) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Available to captive managers, program managers, attorneys, accountants, actuaries, bankers, investment professionals, consultants, brokers, reinsurance intermediaries, third-party administrators, managing general agents, underwriting managers, and other organizations providing services or support to the captive insurance and alternative risk industry.

Industry Partner Members contribute valuable expertise, resources, and professional services that help captive insurers, risk retention groups, self-insured entities, traditional insurers, and other risk-bearing organizations achieve their objectives and strengthen Alabama's alternative risk marketplace.

Industry Partner Members are entitled to voting rights in accordance with the Association's governing documents.

Risk-Bearing Member - $750.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Available to captive insurers, risk retention groups, traditional insurance companies, self-insured entities, and other organizations that bear risk through insurance, captive insurance, self-insurance, or alternative risk financing structures. Organizations actively pursuing the formation of a captive insurer or other alternative risk financing solution may also qualify for this membership category.

Risk-Bearing Members represent the organizations at the center of the insurance and alternative risk marketplace. Through their participation, expertise, and leadership, they help support ALARA's mission and contribute to the continued growth and success of Alabama's captive insurance industry.

Risk-Bearing Members are entitled to voting rights in accordance with the Association's governing documents.

Student Member - Complimentary Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Available to individuals currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, graduate program, law school, or other recognized educational institution with an interest in captive insurance, risk management, insurance, finance, accounting, law, or related fields.

Student Members are encouraged to participate in ALARA educational programs, networking opportunities, and industry events to expand their knowledge and explore career opportunities within the captive insurance and alternative risk industry.

Student Members may attend Association programs and activities but do not have voting rights and are not eligible to serve as directors or officers of the Association.

MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATION

To ensure appropriate representation across the Association, ALARA reserves the right to determine the proper membership classification for all applicants based upon the nature of the applicant's business, organization, or interest in the captive insurance and alternative risk industry.

FOUNDING MEMBERS: BUILDING THE FOUNDATION

ALARA's Founding Members made an early commitment to support the creation and launch of the Association.

In recognition of that commitment, Founding Members are entitled to appoint a representative to serve on the Board of Directors during the Founding Member term.

Their vision, leadership, and support have helped establish a strong foundation for Alabama's captive insurance and alternative risk community.
